LM™’s K-Files have an extremely flexible triangular profile blade. The larger cutting angle enhances instrument use compared to a similar square profile instrument. Preparation waste can also be removed from the canal more easily, because there is more room in the instrument threads. The threads are tightly spaced and the tip is sharp, making the instrument ideally suited to the preparation of straight canals using filing and rotating motions. Small sizes (006 – 015) can also be used in preparation of curved canals. A short, back-and-forth preparation motion is most effective for the instrument.
